Training

Being an educator in an ORR facility for unaccompanied minors is unlike being an educator in any other setting. In order to function effectively in a place where the possibility of secondary trauma among the teaching staff exists, we need to form the professional networks and resources that will sustain us in challenging moments.

One Journey Together has developed a system for teacher training that is uniquely catered to these educators and facilitators.  Sessions are set for customization to the unique needs of each center.
